Jutamas Thai Restaurant

Reasonable prices and great flavor!!! Staff is super friendly and service is quick! My mother and I are very picky with Thai food and the quality here is wonderful! Just moved to Hattiesburg and I will be back!

New to Hattisburg and always thrilled to experience Thai cuisine. It is a small little spot with the interior representative to the Asian culture. I went at lunch time and it was fairly busy. I was seated quickly. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and polite. I ordered vegetarian spring rolls and the pumpkin red curry with tofu. I was also given a complimentary bowl of soup. For strict vegetarians or vegans, it is made with chicken broth. The presentation of the food was very nice, organized and appealing to look at. The food was hot and fresh and they cater to your spice level. Portion sizes are good. The spring rolls are served with a sweet sauce. The pumpkin curry had bamboo shoots, sweet peppers and green beans in it. I would have liked to have more pumpkin pieces in it. The food was tasty and I enjoyed the experience. Would definitely come back here to try other options off the menu.

Pork chop is the best! Pad Thai is great. The soft shell crab with chili sauce is fantastic. Best food in town.

Awesome place to hang out and get best of Thai,Chicken friend rice and rice noodles with whisky sause are awesome. You can't beat it. Service is real good with always smiling. If u wanna have Thai. Here you go

This was a first try for myself and wife. We wanted to try something new for our anniversary. This place is fantastic! The fried calamari was tender and very good!! The main dishes were amazing. Staff was friendly. Service is A+. Will most definitely be back!!

OMG. You need to try this place. Very Good food and Very Good Service. The Combination Fried Rice was greate.

Granted this is in a small town but Thai is supposed to be bold flavors. Our food was bland the service was mediocre at best. Nothing recommended by the staff. Come on untrimmed bone-in chicken thighs on a dipping plate??this was ridiculous.

I thought the presentation of the food and the atmosphere was excellent. What disappointed me about my visit was the taste of the food was a bit lackluster for thai food. Also, the hostess/manager did not make me feel welcome at all. I really wanted to like this place but I would have to pass on my next visit to Mississippi.

This place has the best food, and if you don't know anything about Thai food, like me and my husband, we didn't know anything, you just tell them a few things that you like, and they will suggest stuff for you, and I guarantee you will love it.

Food was excellent. Ambience was very nice. Waiters were very friendly. We were passing through the town and went here based on ratings on trip advisor and the rating was spot on.

Always love the food here. But every now and then the red pepper flakes get mixed into my dish... And it's SPICY. I enjoy spice but I'm not super good at tolerating it in high doses.

Authentic, delicious Thai food in a very unassuming spot. The menu is pretty extensive, and the portions/presentation are both done very well.Service is a bit on the "casual" side , but everybody was very professional, and got us in and out quickly.Can't wait to go back!

The atmosphere, staff and presentation of the food where all incredible. But the best thing was the food it is easily one of the best restaurants in Hattiesburg. I will be going again in the near future.

Yummy!! And LOTS of food! Everything was cooked to perfection. Careful! The “Jutamas” writing on the plates is VERY VERY spicy! My salmon was delicious and my boyfriend’s peanut chicken was very tasty. The peanut dressing for the salad is also very good. The staff were very attentive and nice!

The service was excellent. I got drunken noodles with chicken. It was very tasty. The picture is a yummy gratis appetizer they gave us.

It had been a while since I'd been to Jutamas for varied reasons, and coming back has me kicking myself for letting it fall off my radar. This place remains the best place to eat, hands down, in Hattiesburg. The food is just that good. The simple clear-brothed soup that comes as a free starter counts almost as comfort food, and the entrees are truly spectacular. I had the green curry with pork, and my wife had the drunken noodles, also with pork, which had a smoky, fire-grilled flavor throughout that was amazing.

Hidden Thai gem! This place has super authentic Thai food and it’s always delicious! I’ve never had a bad experience here!

i always love going to local places when we travel, and this place did not disappoint. the ambiance is great, the food is outstanding - such great flavor - and the staff was super :) definitely will go back when i'm in the area. Have been to Jutamas over 10 times. Very consistent. Service is good. Restaurant always quaint and quite, but busy. Food has a lot of personal attention. Always try something different and has been happy with it all.

I am lost as to why this place wasn't packed. We nearly had the fresh rolls to start. Make sure you get a bite of the cilantro they throw on the plate with them and they are awesome (regardless of the tofu addition). Sitting across from me, my husband ordered the pineapple fried rice (pictured). It is almost desert like and will disappear quickly. My personal entree was the Volcano shrimp. The shrimp is huge but when fried in a chili sauce, is very much a basic sweet tasting fried shrimp. The veggies it comes with are a must to get the effect the dish should really have. Can't wait to go back and try something new. The staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere quiet and clean. Must go

Small, but it has great food. It's a place to go to dressed up, but they won't kick you out for dressing casual. They garnish and plate the food pretty well. Has soft jazz playing in the background. When I went, they didn't have their full selection of alcohol in stock

Good food , great ambiance. I like the little courtyard outside with cozy decor . The Salmon with green curry is pretty authentic.

Every single time I make a trip to Hattiesburg I make sure this restaurant is open! The food is crazy good, ambiance is perfect & service is attentive without being over-bearing. We live their roasted garlic soup!! Massaman curry & phad wun sen are highly recommended. Fresh spring rolls are very good - but served cut in slices (6). Portion looks like you are getting 1 roll for what we usually pay for 3. Still excellent.

Great Thai. Food took a bit to come out and not everyone’s food came out at the same time but what we had was delicious. The restaurant was very charming and the service was excellent.

I came here by myself and I got instant service. Food came out in a timely manner and I had zero troubles! For the most part the food taste authentic. I’ve spent some time in Thailand and it’s a good reminder. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and I’ll be coming back

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Jutamas. The food was amazing; excellent taste, spice, and portions. We had the fried wontons and Tom ka soup appetizers. The soup was presented in a decadent dish. For entrees we had the Gang Dang Curry and Lad Na Mee Grob Noodle dish. They can be served 1-5 stars for heat; 2 was moderate and 3 was medium. I will definitely be back to try other entrees. The atmosphere is very decorative and the service was quick and attentive.
